Retail and e-commerce
The same six questions, in five different places.
Where is my order. Do you have it in my size. Can I return this. Asked on chat, on Instagram, by text, by email and on the phone, all at once, all needing someone to stop what they are doing and go look it up.
Demo Store is our demo company, and its prices are invented. The system answering is the real one.
Yours would answer from your stock, your shipping times and your own returns policy.
The three leaks
Where retail hours actually go.
The same six questions, five times an hour
Where is my order, do you have it in my size, can I return this, do you ship, are you open, do you price match. None of them need a person. All of them currently get one.
Stock checks that stop the floor
Someone walks off the register to go look in the back. The customer in front of them waits, and the one on the phone hangs up.
The same question in five different places
Website chat, Instagram DM, SMS, email and the phone, each with its own queue, each answered by whoever happens to see it first. Nobody has the whole picture.
One agent, every channel
This is the part that matters more in retail than anywhere else. The same agent, the same answers, one customer record behind all five inboxes.

What the agent handles
Order status and tracking
Pulls the live order, gives the real carrier status and the real date, and offers to text an update when it moves.
Stock and availability by location
Checks the actual count in the store the customer is asking about, not the aggregate, and offers to hold it.
Returns and exchanges
Runs your return policy as rules. Inside the window it issues the label; outside it, it routes to you with the order already open.
Shipping, delivery and pickup
Cutoff times, methods, costs and pickup readiness, answered the same way every time.
Product and fit questions
Answers from your own product data and size guides. Anything it does not have, it hands over rather than inventing.
Post-purchase review requests
Asked after delivery lands, not after the order ships, which is when people actually have an opinion.
Reads from your systems
It never keeps its own copy of your catalog.
Stock, orders and prices are read live at the moment of the question. A stale mirror is how an agent ends up promising a customer something you sold two hours ago.
FAQ
Retail questions.
Will it connect to the store platform I already run?
If it has an order API, we can connect to it. It reads live order and stock data rather than keeping its own copy, so it can never tell a customer something your system disagrees with. Some connections are quick and some are a project. We look at yours during the audit and quote it before we start.
Can it process a return itself?
It can issue a return label and start the RMA within the rules you set: inside the window, unworn, original payment method. Anything outside those rules is routed to you with the order already pulled up rather than refused outright.
What happens on Black Friday when volume triples?
Nothing different. It answers three hundred simultaneous conversations the same way it answers three, which is the one thing a seasonal hire cannot do. Your bill does not change either.
We sell in store and online. Does it know the difference?
Yes, if your systems do. It checks the location a customer is asking about before quoting availability, so nobody drives to the Granbury store for something sitting in the warehouse.
